I started using it after having tried out Any.DO and Astrid but none was as easy an smooth as Wunderlist. Would be great to have this app on MeeGo.

Google Talk is possible.... Its called "Gtalk" application... Tip: when installing make sure somebody from your friends is logged in and has video future supported. After Gtalk installs your phone will shut down/restart... that is normal

Option to disable charging when connected to the PC in "Mass storage" mode. Every time when transferring data, battery is being charged - and it reduces the battery life...

I don't think that would make sense, because you'd need different type of connection ports to achieve that. And the other being the batteries of today are not that prone to go bad that easily because you charge it frequently (it probably has more to do with the number of times it achieves a complete charge and discharge. Read on Apple forum for better understanding.)

And in case you are running out of juice frequently, then why not get yourself one of those sexy Nokia external battery packs that come in all the candy colours that the N9 has!

Possible with little trick. I dont think N9 can sync with facebook calendar directly. So.... First Google "how to sync facebook calendar with google calendar". Then you can synch your google calendar with N9 using CalDAV account in your accounts app. It is very easy just write your user name, pasword and server is google.com. All done. Later you can adjust sync intervals an so on

If you mean FTP server then there is one in the Ovi store: http://store.ovi.com/content/272602. For a download only client you can use a web browser, Opera works fine. I imagine that the command line ftp client could be installed with apt-get install ftp in a terminal once you have become root.

There's an app called Eyrie Music Detection which is the same thing.

Eyrie lacks good suppeort for music reckognition, something like to access databases like gracenote or similar, but open and free.

But as of now, Eyrie doesnt really work... :(

Possibility to close notifications straight from the lock screen: could be little x on the corner of notification or something like that. It's irritating to open email in N9 just to get rid of notification. Many times I've already read the email from my computer and still I have to open the email from N9 for to close the notification.

Not trying to spam the site here but I would to put in a request for OpenVPN--secure web browsing when you're out and about using public access point(s)--and owncloud--sync all your photos and videos to your home server on the fly--clients. I would pay for them. 5-20 dollars each. -Office creator/editor I would love to have.

It is a good idea to have a site were you can request apps that you would like to have on your N9, sadly it dosent seem to work. Here are a lot of great app ideas that have been here for a long time but nothing have happened. Sadly None of the good games have been made to work on the N9.

Well you can play through Bluetooth and most cars have that option.

That would be so great!! But lack of antenna in Fm-transmitter will make it very hard to get working software for it.

They have got the fm reciever working as usual by using the Headphones as an antenna. I would be happy to use the headphones as an antenna to transmit, or even in car charger.

I guess you have caught my thinking by now, I want the Stand-by screen to “brighten” when I pick the phone up. Let this be the default behaviour (that is, no settings required to activate this.)

I certainly feel the Stand-by screen is too bright when viewed in complete darkness and this would be a nice touch.

There is already a simple beta fm radio available that uses headphones as the antenna. Just search N9 FM RADIO to find it. It will be a my-MeeGo.com. Make sure you enable installations from non-store sources in options before downloading it.

A website telling us poor souls who bought our N9's in China, how to crack it to get the full apps (such as AIM, skype, facebook etc - i figured out how, but not without a LOT of blood sweat and pain), additionally, i have yet to figure out how to get stuff from the nokia store that doesn't tell me that sorry nokia china store doesn't have it so you are SOL. >< I am not a dev., i don't trust myself to poke around root for obscure code. help. please? (china store has mostly stuff in chinese, for chinese consumers, one which i am not. the sales lady in china told me she lost hundreds of customer this week alone who were expats failing to find a way around this. If it's a conflict with the chinese gov, put on on youtube or somewhere equally block, the expats can use vpn to get to it and their sensorship to the masses will be safe.)

It would be very helpful if someone who is in China could figure out what works and what not. I guess flashing the phone with another region firmware and using VPN would solve these problems? Should there be some kind of solution which is easy for regular users? Or just put the information available somewhere? Are you guys already using VPN's over there to access websites?

Unfortunately so far i have yet to find a VPN which can run with MeeGo. yes we ALL use vpn to survive here, so most expats can get to the info if it is readily availible but i have look everywhere and cannot find anyone - chinese or expat - who has found a way around it. and i am pretty determained. We need Skype, facebook, hell even the games are blocked >< no access to store means only access to chinese made apps- in chinese. I LOVE this phone but i am honestly losing my mind to this. we JUST need the n9-apps.com people to put up a direct download link which does not ship us to the store, because the store gets bounced to china store and then you are out of luck because a message saying "this app is not availible in your country/this app is no longer availible in your store" comes up. PLEASE PLEASE HELP US!!!

That's why there is the + button, and the top list is sorted by this. Hot list is combination of most voted and new apps, so that recently most voted are on top of the list. Checking the hot list should be easy way to discover if there's great new apps available. Only problem left is to get more people voting.

i think i saw it if you enter battery in settings it show time left ,and while charging it gves you time left to fully charge.but you have to enter every time to see it,you can install the battery incidcator app and click on it you enter the settings fast.

I did something similar, replacing the icon with percentage numbers. Am currently developing a method to replace the text in icon with the current perecentage. Stay tuned!

siri of iphone4s is very good one..you can talk to your phone. you can ask the time and the phone will answer..hope apps like this one or the vlingo can be available on nokia n9
