First it didnt work, I just saw a black screen. I contacted Strix Code team and they helped me. Now ITS WORKING FINE and I am happy.
Hello,
I find that applying FM Radio N9 is excelling. I regret that it is essential that the frequencies are systematically saved during each scan frequencies, this problem prevents me from using the radio correctly, when I travel in public transport. It would be preferable to offer the user to manually back up. I also would see in a future update, the ability to manually enter the exact frequency with the keyboard. I would see in a future update to add the AF (Alternative Frequencies - The transmitters broadcast a list of neighboring broadcast frequencies from the same station. The radios may at any time and seek the best available frequency. It is and you can listen to the same station from coast to coast without manually change frequency (frequencies are "downloaded" into the RAM of the car radio.) best regards

The app itselp is superb. The only problem is related to ovi store & nokia. May be they do not want n9 to be so much popular ???

Can not install, paid the money and can not install this app. Let's see how to get the money back...
Dear viola1982. I understand your frustration. This is bad for my too. Unfortunately I cannot fix Nokia Store. They messed something up and we need to wait for them to fix this. Please send me an email and I will find an alternative way to get you the app.
Here is my email violina1982[at]hotmail.com, please let me know how can I get this application to work.
Nokia store have problem download and update program FM Radio N9 verzion 1.3.0 "The package contain an error. Please download again". I purchased this program and I can not update. How to solve it?
That is Nokia's fault. The problem has been reported and I hope they will fix it soon. SportsTracker and other apps have the same issue. Please send email to support at strixcode com if this situation isn't solved.
Choose another FM Radio, it does not have any problems and post updates every week. Check http://fm-radio.mobi
I forgot the stars :(
Much better (in terms of functionality and aspect) than FM Radio. I love apps that take into account MeeGo UI/UX rules. Good job. Even it is a one man company.
What an app!
Now with RDS this is a killer app! It is so beautiful and fits Nokia N9 so well that it looks like it was created by Nokia itself! Thank you so much!
Not bad
Absolutely lovely. My wish if for RDS and ability to save manually tuned station and opening with station I was on when I closed application. Worth the money in the end
There is one feature, which I miss....It's to put sound through internal speakers... Will it work with bluetooth speakers?
You can put sound through the speaker, just tap the headphones icon at the bottom.
Don't know why it wasn't that obvious to me....thx
20 SEK for a radio app. This app or similar should already been included when you buy the phone. Sucks to pay extra for this.
Agree!
Works really well. Station scanning is also automatic and fast, and stores all scanned stations in a list for quick access. Manual tuning is also easy to do by just dragging the tuner view. Tapping the headphone image allows to listen through speaker.
I have just received incredibly good customer service from a company called Strix Code.
Earlier today I bought an FM Radio app for my N9 from Nokia Store. It did not work with my equipment so I posted a comment with negative tone to the Ovi Store and requested help from Nokia Support. The Nokia Support has yet to answer my post...
... however, I also posted my problem report to Strix Code support. Turns out it's a very small company because the OWNER(!) himself replied to me just a few minutes later, with a promise to write a diagnostic program to work out my problem report. He sent the program, I ran it on my equipment, and sent the results back.
A bit more than an hour later they asked me the serial number (aka. IMEI) of my equipment so that they can write a custom fix to the problem that would work in my phone. I told them my phone's IMEI and a few minutes later they sent me an installer for a custom-made app that should work with my equipment. And it did!!!
I have not been this impressed by the customer service of any company for I don't know how long ago! If you find interesting apps in Strix Code catalog, I will heartily recommend doing business with them.
"OWNER(!) himself replied to me just a few minutes later" - this means that this "company" has only 1 employee - the owner himself :)
"the serial number (aka. IMEI) of my equipment so that they can write a custom fix" - really nice try, but MeeGo apps do not use any IMEI-based protection (not like e.g. Symbian ones), so this has no sense at all.
I bough original FM Radio program from Andrey Kozhanov and it seems to work like charm: http://store.ovi.com/content/262564. Try to use that one - then you do not need any support.
Works like a charm!
I also bought the other radio, but this one is better. Station list, swype interface and a beautiful looks. A killer app!
Super app! This is the best radio. A beautiful radio for a beautiful phone. I'm very happy with it. Highly recommended.
Hm... looks like the clone of http://fm-radio.mobi ...
In functionality - yes, in looks - absolutely NO!
This is a perfect app! I love it!
