Seems to work great based on some short testing. When USB cable is plugged in some weirdness happens in the file browser.

Also, there is a problem with the N9 browser: It doesn't download .torrent files and says application/x-bittorrent not supported.

Search this doc for "mimetypes" https://docs.google.com/document/d/1a85BouTEBCr-K4StgDspSXUeWps-MwsA9gEyYtfrDI/edit?hl=enGB#heading=h.kn0f912e9g5a You'll come accross a thread that explains how to push mimetpyes to the stock browser. Once you add a torrent file mimetype, the browser should dload files of that kind.

Thanks a lot! I tried this:

~ devel-su (pw: rootme)

~ echo "application/x-bittorrent=MeeTor_harmattan.desktop" >> /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache

Now it saves the file and it's possible to open MeeTor by clicking the file, but it doesn't add it automatically yet. It's better anyway.

Deion is also working on a fix for this and other issues.

Didn't get email about this response, so I never noticed. Glad it helped... Site's looking better than ever by the way.

I hope the inbox feature helps a little bit with this. I have yet to enable email based notifications.

True. Plus it should be free. Try using firefox to download .torrent files!

How to install Firefox on N9? Do I need to switch on "Developer mode" ?

there's an unofficial version of Firefox. You should transfer the .deb file to your phone and open it with a file manager.
