n9tweak is made to do some of the hacks available for N9 a little bit more user friendly. I started out to making it because i was lazy and reflash the device pretty frequently but also as i wanted to provide a safer way to enabling the hacks.
This is hacks so be careful when you use it. Some of them could bork the system and force you to flash the device.
Install it through the browser and make sure you have "allow other sources" and developer-mode activated in settings .

Anyone know why the grid size for the apps doesnt change? What I mean is in tweak I set the icons to the small preset and I still have the 4x6 grid of apps but just small icons sizes. Same for the other presets. When I then choose to "Change Icon size seperatly" and enter the details same thing. The icons change size but they still stay in a 4x6 grid formation in portrait and a7x3 grid in landscape. I really need help here. I have been trying the last 4 hours to install this app. I give up now. I tryed by using meescan and I dowloaded the file but it cannot be opened as it is a .bin file. The N9 will not open it. I tryed running it through terminal wont either. Please help me im at wits end with this... Can someone please type me step by step as I have watched countless tutorials aswell...
Just renaming it to .deb should do the trick. So, download it on your N9, and open Filebox. Find the file and long press to rename and remove .bin from the end. Then just double tap on it and the package will be installed.
I tried that but everytime I press done after changing the name, I scroll back down to the file to see it hasnt changed at all...
Well, I don't know why it doesn't work, but you can try renaming it on your computer and transferring to the phone.
Yeah i have done that. i.e. when i plug my phone into the pc (mass storage seleceted) and then click into it from my compputer, it shows the file n9tweak.deb as the file name and the file type in the other column says .bin. However when i go through filebox i go into home, user, mydocs etc and I see the n9tweak.deb.bin. I tried renaming it to n9tweak.deb only (even though it already is called that ) and save but when i go back to look at the filename it still is .deb.bin... :/
Go to http://minus.com/mb5trtYJt/6 and right click the file, select 'save link as..', type n9tweak.deb in the box and click save. Then copy this file to your N9 and install.

Mine says it is the wrong format when i try and click on the icon after meescan link :/ help please????

Trying to change launcher icons so I get 5/row (seen videos on YT so I know it is possible using latest version), yet only the icons get smaller, and no repositioning occurs. Is there a way to do it manually?
Please help, i tried the enlarge virtual keyboard tweak and now have no keyboard at all so can't change it back. Tried resetting my phone (clear device) but upon restart it asks me to log into my Nokia account but i cant as i have no keyboard. can't txt or anything. Phone still works for calls apps etc please help??????
Which version are you using? I released a bugfix for that in the latest version.
The StatusBar clcok change does not work. Never has, not in this version, nor in N9 QTweaks. Help?

Using default theme. I have live clock, calendar hack, landscape mod, lpm clock colour change, calendar feed.

I will look into it. Are you trying to use the manual or the presets option? If manual what do you write?
Using preset, have tried both 1 and 2. Never worked when it was only the script either. Have tried all verisons, both this one and N9 QuickTweak. Could F2thaK's dark clock mod affect it? I removed it, but maybe residual sys file alteration rendering your mod useless?
It might be.. both N9QT and F2thaK's mods could interfer as they also changes the theme files. Are you using the latest version of n9tweak? Do you have developer-mode activated?
Got it to work by altering stausarea.css a bit, and by changing clock to 24H. This is the big issue. CLOCK MUST BE SET TO 24H MODE FOR SC MODS TO WORK. Changing back to 12H and mod disappears :/

Yoy could try and run it in terminal with "sh /opt/n9tweak/n9tweak" to see if it show you any errors.
also a great feature for this app would be a enabler for the alphanumeric keyboard in sms (at least) :)
Can you explain what adhoc at start up is? It is the only thing i cannot understand.. Also, i used the Wifi powersave off loop, but now is always asking for WLAN.. Anyway to enable the PSave again?
It is to give you adhoc networking at startup. It get's turn off when you close the app with ctrl+c and PSave is on again.
I did that ctrl+c thingie... also checked the wifi on background settings, and everything is ok.. It constantly keeps asking for wifi connection :/

Missed informing about that you need to have wireless-tools installed from sdk repo. Maybe should add an installer for that. So it didn't work for you. Will try to make for next version.
I just rebooted and it stopped asking for internet connection :) I guess im back to normal again.
Just had to search what was the password, rootme, but otherwise it is so cool. Just missing the change of coulours in the event view. Thank you so much !
For the colors in the event view, use the N9 QTweak.

How do you mean? It say that it will resize your virtual keyboard in the info. You mean like a title?
